From jrobin2333@sbcglobal.net

I'm looking for a tutor who can get someone started on the system.  Since I have a full time job it would have to be on the weekends.  Most of the pro courses I've seen are pretty advanced for where I'm at now.  I've tried Lynda.com and it got me started but I have questions and need person to person contact.  I've worked on premiere pro for a few years and have a working knowledge of avid but final cut is a totally different animal. My husband is a science instructor and we produce videos for his courses...final cut would really help. Thanks! Cris Robinette

Free Training???

The ETP program is performance-based, providing funds for trainees who successfully complete training and are retained in well-paying jobs for a specific period of time.  Employers match training funds awarded by ETP for training existing workers, making these projects true public-private partnerships. ETP also funds training for unemployed workers. Training Reimbursement ranges from $15 - $26 per hour of training provided.

The program serves as the State's premier economic development tool, encouraging many companies to locate or expand in California with the assistance of ETP's job training funds.  Since its inception in 1983, the ETP program has provided over $1 billion to train more than 800,000 workers in over 70,000 California companies.   Independent research has documented a return on investment of over $5 for every $1 in ETP funds spent on training.

Upgrade your workers' skills by creating a customized training program that meets your company's needs. ETP is here to assist you as you make your employees and your company more productive to meet global competition.
